Pyjamas shouldn't be restricted to bed wear. Not when they're as
smart as Poplin pjs.
Created by Oxford graduate and former journalist Lucy Archibald,
the pyjama and 'lounge wear' collection came about whilst she was
working as a freelance writer in India. Lucy wanted something
comfortable but luxurious to wear while working from home… which
led of course to pyjamas - the freelancer's 'business suit'.
Inspired by classic men's tailoring (think Turnbull &
Asser), Poplin pyjamas are made in India using Swiss cottons and
hand printed silks. There are also nightshirts, shortie pyjamas and
in the pipeline for summer are glamorous, backless
nightdresses.
But nothing beats a crisp pair of striped or white pjs with a
smart red, navy or apple green piping.
