She's at it again. Next month author, playwright and activist
Eve Ensler (most famous for writing The Vagina Monologues)
will put together a 90-minute performance at the Lyric Theatre
featuring monologues from A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A
Prayer.
There's a tasty list of actors, artists and musicians
contributing, which so far includes comedian and actress Meera
Syal, actress Olivia Williams and film producer and actress Trudie
Styler. Directors include artist Jake Chapman, Director of Tate
Modern Chris Dercon and Director of Whitechapel Gallery Iwona
Blazwick.
Expect a passionate, visceral and thought-provoking production,
a starry crowd, a rocking after-party with all proceeds going to
Women for Women International and V-Day - charities that work to
aid women and girls affected by war, rape and trafficking.
A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer on Monday
